I used to hustle my way to success until I reached there, having been the co-founder & CFO of an 8-fig company and I was not happy. Instead I was burnt out and disconnected from my true self. It is then I asked myself “What went wrong Saleha?

Reflecting on my upbringing helped me realize that all those years my wish to be like my 4 brothers so I could go wherever I wanted, and do whatever I wanted, had manifested in to an internal distance from my INNATE FEMININE GIFTS.

All that I learned at UC Berkeley, UCLA, and the startup industry was the way of the masculine and that too much was wounded masculine. So what was I doing thinking their way would work for my body? In simple terms, I was naive even after being highly educated.

The place that harnessed all my power was always my body. But no one had ever directed me to turn to it. Instead, society made me hide my body in boxes.

I thought in order to be successful in this world, I had to shut away my feminine spark & blend in. And that landed me in much trouble. I was unsatisfied with the environment I was in. I couldn’t find authentic connections with my co-workers. And in business, whenever I listened to intuition I would step a mile forward but my inability to hold my ground as a woman would take me a mile right back.

Since I let go of the masculine way of leadership, I have taken a 4 year long sabbatical fully funding my travels & lifestyle, launched my purpose-full business Behnchara, appeared on many podcasts, served hundreds of women, built a network of great humans who cheer me up, and I absolutely love what I do. The best part is that I have freedom of time. Yet there is another cherry on top, which is that my beauty, my peace, my health is in the best state it’s ever been at 33. I can confidently say I know where I am going and nothing can stop me from materializing my vision that is yet to unfold.
